SOCIAL, CULTURAL AND HUMANTARIAN COMMITTEE

“ NEVER lose faith in HUMANITY, as HUMANITY is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, doesn’t mean the rest of the ocean is dirty too."

Mahatma Gandhi

The Social, Cultural, and Human affairs committee (SOCHUM) is the Third Committee of the General Assembly of the United Nations and focuses broadly on the welfare and human rights of protected groups such as refugees, children, victims of discrimination, and many others. This committee deals with the most humane aspects of our society. Violence against racially discriminated groups, the global fight for human rights, and hope for an anti-corrupt world is our TOP PRIORITY. The decisions of SOCHUM affect vital factors in the lives of the world community. Every Decision, Every Action, Every Struggle, Every War has its roots in society. The choices you make in this committee will have grave implications on life as a whole.

Are you ready for that responsibility?

Or Rather

Are you ready to change the world?
