In a world that’s knee-deep in confirmation biases, fake news, and yellow journalism, a reliable press has become the guiding torch for a democratic society. The role of the media, very simply put, is; to project the right, be responsible, and expose all that’s wrong with the world. However, today we face a hurdle, a threat to our freedom of speech, thought and expression by the very government we elected to safeguard our fundamental rights. For years journalists have put their lives at risk in the pursuit of truth, and now it's your responsibility to do precisely that. That's exactly what we expect at RMUN 2020; for you to bring out the truth the world needs to know, even if it's the truth the world can't bear to face. With this, we proudly present to you the International Press Corps of the first-ever online edition of RMUN 2020.
