The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) is the First Committee of the United Nations General Assembly. This committee provides for an outlet to address and deal with issues that are related to disarmament challenges to global security as well as threats to international peace. This year's agenda, in brief, is to discuss ways to combat the usage of firearms and the infamous Khartoum Massacre that occurred on 3rd June 2019. The DISEC was formed 74 years ago and has been successful in providing solutions to deal with critical situations. Delegates, it’s your time to shine now!
